NHS Inform

We understand the frustrations of our patients who try to contact the Practice whilst we continue to  work under strict covid guidelines in both of our premises.

Our telephone lines are extremely busy and we are working hard to ensure that phones are answered promptly and your requests are dealt with as soon as possible.

We respectfully ask that patients do not come to the door of the practice unless invited to attend or have been asked to hand something in.

Please do not contact us  to ask for a Covid vaccination passport or status certificate –we will not be able to provide any standard document. International certification standards have not yet been agreed.
The Scottish Government is working to support the re-opening of international travel once it is safe to do so. We are working with the other UK Nations and with the World Health Organisation to agree on potential future COVID certification requirements for international travel.

As part of this, we are developing a technical solution that could allow people to access their Covid vaccination status directly

The  above link to NHS inform, provides important information about Community Health and Care  Services and who can be contacted if you are navigated elsewhere by our trained Reception staff.

We have noticed an increase in the amount of verbal abuse that our staff have had to experience in recent weeks.  Please be aware that the staff work on the strict instruction of the GPs and Management.

Please be kind and show consideration and respect everyone in our team.

Thank you for your patience and co-operation.
